About Us

We are a group of friends who like Rust and functional programming, languages like CLisp and Clojure. We all are Linux users, so we spend a lot of time on the command line. All of since the beginning of school have always wanted to make a programming language. We saw no better time then to come together and create Fender.

Our Story

Fender first started out as our capstone project. We had some much fun developing it that we continued to expand it on our own time. Fenders first offical BETA launch was our capstone presentation. We were blown away with the positivity and excitement of the responses we got about Fender. This excitement drives us to make something that we love and use everyday.
